End of April, Earth of Mind | Earth Month Reflection & Sustainable Living

Earth Month Is Over… Now What?

April comes and goes, and with it the collective energy of Earth Month. We recycle a little more, think a little greener, and maybe even swap paper towels for cloth napkins. But once May rolls around, it’s easy for that motivation to quietly fade.

Here’s the truth: the work isn’t done. Not even close.

And while that reality can feel overwhelming, it doesn’t have to stop you in your tracks. In fact, it should get you excited, ready to throw more and more pebbles.

The Power of One Small Thing

When faced with something as massive as climate change, it’s tempting to think, “What difference could I possibly make?”

A lot, actually.

Change doesn’t come from one grand gesture. It comes from millions of small, consistent actions building up over time. Choosing to recycle one more item. Shifting your mindset from “it doesn’t matter” to “every little bit helps.”

Even just one thing. Just that one pebble.

Better for you and better for the...

Turning Awareness Into Action

This is where those pebbles of good become powerful. That’s why my friend Isabel and I decided to take this beyond just talking about it. We’re turning it into something interactive, imperfect, and—dare I say—fun.

Join the May Challenge

Starting the first Wednesday of May, we’ll be sharing weekly challenges designed to help you make one small change each week. Nothing overwhelming. Nothing unrealistic. Just doable, meaningful shifts that add up.

We’ll be posting:

  • Weekly reels on Instagram
  • Additional content on YouTube
  • Simple, actionable ideas you can actually stick with

And yes—we’d love for you to join us.

Because doing this together? That’s where the ripples happen.

Real Life, Real Impact

Let’s be honest—spring cleaning is in full swing right now. Closets are being cleared, garages tackled, and homes refreshed.

But here’s the part we often overlook:
Where does it all go?

Decluttering feels good, but without intention, it can create a ripple effect of waste. This challenge is about pausing long enough to consider that impact—and making just one better choice.

Not perfect. Just better.

So, did you watch it?… Really? No, you didn’t. Go back and watch, I’ll wait….

Well… did you watch it this time? Never mind, I am just going to have to trust you. We need a relationship of trust here…

Aaaaah! I’m just kidding. You do you, though, it would be cool if you’d watch it, so you know what’s going on.

But if you did want to be part of something simple, positive, and impactful? This is your invitation.

Start with one thing.
Stick with it.
Build from there.

Because Earth Month may be over—but caring for the Earth?
That’s an everyday kind of thing.
