Sundays in My City #55 -- A Glimpse at My Bliss

Sundays in My City #55 -- A Glimpse at My Bliss

Easter has just begun and I have many pictures to take with which I can annoy my children. Before I hop off for that, I thought that I would share a peek into the amazing hotel where Blissdom was held...the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, Texas.

And if you never understood the phrase, they do things bigger in Texas, this might lend insight! I had a very snazzy room wherein I could write, and think, and SLEEP without interruption. A luxury I've not experienced in a long time. I even had two of everything from which to choose!

Double the Fun: Two of Everything!

From trains to treats, the Gaylord delivers in twos.

Speaking of two of everything, they have not one but two miniature trains running through their own landscapes.

A Riverwalk and an Alamo—Inside a Hotel!

The breathtaking replicas that make this stay unforgettable.

It gets bigger. They have built a replica of the San Antonio Riverwalk into the hotel... river, included!

And what would San Antonio be without the Alamo? Yes, they even have an Alamo inside!
