Here's to the Late Bloomers

This beauty bloomed on my birthday and I felt a kinship with it. After most of the flowers had already told their Spring stories, this one saved its petals for a later date - like me!⁣

We love to celebrate the “first”s and the “youngest”s but that doesn’t mean that purpose ends at 40. For me, my life really came into focus in the last decade and I truly believe my best years are ahead of me.⁣
