Advent Calendar 2014 Day 8 -- So This is Christmas
Today is the 34th Anniversary of the death of John Lennon's death. Yesterday, I was listening to his last interview and the profundity and irony of his life affirming words just hours before his death sent chills through me. His vision for a peaceful world of equality still inspires especially with this song. It always challenges me to see beyond the gifts and wrappings to do something with the holiday. To make something of my life.
RIP John Lennon. I can still "Imagine" a better world and that "War is Over".
